Haunted House of Wonder
Someone broke into my house and left a bloody crime scene
My house mates and I just had our first Halloween party, which also served as our house warming. We wanted our guests to immerse into a spooky environment, but we were on a budget.
I kid you not, we found all of our décor at Marshalls, TJ Max, Target, Dollar Tree, and Home Depot.
Mood lighting brought to you by Home Depot
I also love the appearance of these roses. They look as though they are painted in blood.
Spruce up your flowers with some eyeballs!
Take the skeletons out of your closet and put them to work!
What is better than a charcuterie board with some festive flavors! I love the cranberry goat cheese from Trader Joe’s and the look of their maple leaf cookies.
Don’t be a ghoul and miss your window of opportunity!
Bloody stickers for your windows are classic!
Last but not least. . .
The recipe idea!! Jell-o in a petri dish covered in your DNA evidence! Or alternatively, you can use some sprinkles. Another scary surprise you could add is some spirits. (See what I did there?)
OH! And you can’t forget your gourds, cob webs, foliage, and beaker full of body parts! While there’s an air of mystery around why stores are so eager about marketing for holidays months before they arrive, I find it very advantageous.
My secret is going to Michaels and using ALL of the coupons. The deals are endless!
Have a spooktacular party & enjoy this photo of me as Bob Ross! Until next time, witches!
